The Black Crows Orb Freebird are a tried and tested backcountry favorite. The 91mm waist and solid construction make them a great choice as a Scottish or spring touring ski. They also work well on the pistes so are a good bet if you want 1 ski to do everything from your touring trip to a week in the resort with the family.
Light but not too light they are in the sweet spot for touring skis that can deal with the crud and last through the years.
These lightweight all mountain / touring skis have an 11% tip rocker to make turn initiation a little easier and to help make them a bit more nimble without sacrificing the edge hold and super smooth flex that made its predecessor a legend.
